The convention, for me, is over. I got my yearly fill of the sights, sounds and fanbase without even having to run all over the place like a madman as I usually would, and it left me exhausted. But overall, I also feel pretty awesome; I made out like a bandit, as per usual. Including food and travel considerations which I previously hadn't worried about since I was traveling with family, I only spent $80 all week.
Anyway, I did in fact, take on the score attack challenge as I planned. The biggest issue was how early I took it though. I was super-excited when the person managing the game room told me to write my name on the scoreboard, until I realized I was only 2nd place because I was the 2nd to play. 30 minutes passed, and a crowd had drawn to knock my score and the person's above mine off the board.
There was a lot of panels that looked interesting, but mostly I just wandered around bumping into people. My sign did it's job.
Anyway, I can't think of a good way to really end this entry, so I'll just wish everyone a happy Easter Sunday and call it good.
P.S. I might link a few photos in this journal later.
